As some of you may know, I was in San Francisco a week ago. The first pic was taken in 901 Columbus Cafe which was just a block away from my hotel. The second was further south on Columbus Avenue toward Chinatown. I imagine if I ever decided to live in San Francisco I would probably want to live in the Little Italy area. There is a great bookstore called City Lights where I picked up a copy of The Artist of Disappearance by Anita Desai. That book looks really promising just from the couple pages I read of it as well as the praising review I found in San Francisco Chronicle.

Now I excuse me while I return to the batcave- and by batcave I mean under my bed. It’s not nearly as pathetic as my batmobile…it’s a remote control car.

Chinatown. Passed by it on the 30 everyday in the summer when I was 13. Never ever realized how beautiful until today.
