I am in the city of rainbow banners, steep hills, cable cars and a big red bridge. During my last time here I made it a point to buy a newspaper in commemoration of my visit. My appreciation for newspaper is short lived as the Los Angeles Times kind of blows. But the San Francisco Chronicle is a surprisingly well written periodical and do not even get me started on the book reviews- good stuff. I just got here this morning so I was able to pick up the Sunday printing with the “Food & Wine” and “Insight” sections which were really helpful considering I am in tourist mode. Tomorrow I plan to visit some bookstores in the bay area and then grab some food with my family. All the while I’ll have a copy of the SF Chronicle in hand to keep me occupied. Hmmm, Chronicle? Sounds like a good name. See what I did there? Farewell ya’ll. Make sure to read something printed. Don’t let those trees die for no reason.
